1985
CALA Finance formed by the CALA Group and started funding developers from a regional base in East Moseley, Surrey.
1987
Demand for this unique form of funding grew and within 2 years CALA Finance were funding in excess of 100 units per annum with a geographical spread from St. Leonard on Sea, Sussex, Hereford in the West, Wapping in London Docklands to Royal Birkdale in the North West.
1989
Following the success of CALA Finance in the South CALA Finance Northern was created to develop business opportunities throughout Scotland and the North of England.
1990’s
CALA Finance Northern grow extensively with sites in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, the North East of England and Yorkshire.
2000
A decision was made to develop the business further from a regional base in Yorkshire. Since our Leeds office was established over 100 homes have been funded on prime sites on the northern edge of Leeds and Ilkley. Further business opportunities have presented themselves in Sheffield, Bradford and York.
Additional sites were funded in the Midlands and South of England with sites in Birmingham, Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells, Camberley and Reading and are managed by the teams in Edinburgh and Leeds.
2002
A further key appointment was made to develop the company’s business in the West Midlands and Oxfordshire and a new CALA Finance office was established in Birmingham.
2003
Further appointments of key staff in Scotland, Yorkshire and Birmingham have strengthened each of the teams to allow fast customer response times and a continued high level of service.
2004
This year saw a new regional appointment for new business in the North West of England. Two further Business Development Managers were appointed together with additional accounting, construction and surveying staff.

2007
A regional office is set up in the South East in London. This is led by Martyn Seth who has over 25 years experience in residential development and construction.
