CALA launches new phase at Stanway development as buyers snap up homes

The final phase of homes at CALA Homes’ Furly Meadows development is being launched ahead of schedule, as the award-winning homebuilder celebrates a surge in demand for new homes in Stanway.

With 66% of the homes at Furly Meadows now sold, CALA Homes has responded to customer demand, and released the final 16 homes two months earlier than planned. 

Set in the historic village of Stanway in Colchester, Furly Meadows is a modern development featuring a collection of 50 two, three, four and five bedroom homes.

Designed for both first and existing homebuyers, the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme is an initiative for homebuyers who need support with deposit funds, enabling them to obtain a mortgage of between 75% and 85% with as little as 5% cash deposit, with the option to purchase additional equity. Help to Buy only applies to new build properties in England with a maximum purchase price of £600,000. Over 60% of buyers at Furly Meadows have utilised the scheme, enabling them to purchase their dream home in Stanway.
