Planning approved for brand new homes in Hampton Vale, Peterborough

CALA Homes (North Home Counties) has been given the go ahead to create a high quality development of 350 brand new homes, in Hampton Vale to the south west of Peterborough.

CALA Homes 08 April 2019

The development will be surrounded by Haddon Lake, known by many as the most desirable site in Hampton Vale, and will offer a wide selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties to meet the needs of a wide range of purchasers. Properties to the north of the site will boast enviable views over two public parks and woodland, whilst homes to the south will enjoy idyllic surroundings overlooking Haddon Lake.
As part of the scheme, CALA will also deliver a range of community benefits including the creation of wildflower meadows and formal and informal recreational play areas for children of all ages.

This brand new scheme follows CALA’s popular ‘The Mallards’ development, which completely sold out in December 2018 following high demand from local purchasers.

Phillip Wright, Head of Planning and Design at CALA Homes North Home Counties, said:

“CALA is a premium homebuilder with a strong track record of creating sensitive developments in village locations. We have successfully built in this area previously, and we are delighted to be returning to Peterborough to deliver more high quality homes.

“We have worked closely with Peterborough City Council and Natural England throughout the planning process to ensure we create a sustainable development which enhances the existing community in Hampton Vale and that it perfectly fits the existing local vernacular. We are excited to begin work onsite in May this year, with the first homes expected to be released for sale in January 2020.”
