CALA Homes (Midlands) has been given the go-ahead to create a high quality development of 68 brand new homes at Salford Priors in Warwickshire.

CALA Homes 08 April 2019

The development will boast idyllic countryside views and will offer a wide selection of two, three, four and five bedroom properties, designed to complement existing homes in the surrounding area, as well as 24 affordable homes to meet local housing need. An attractive village green will connect the development to the existing community. As part of the scheme, CALA will also be making financial contributions towards local community services, education and highway infrastructure.

Construction is scheduled to begin on the new homes in June 2019, ahead of the development launch in February 2020.

Daniel Forrester, Regional Land Director for CALA Homes (Midlands), said: “We are pleased to have received planning permission to deliver these brand new homes in Salford Priors. CALA has an impressive track record in delivering successful developments across Warwickshire, including Eden Park and Coton House Country Estate in Rugby and Foxgloves in Shipston-on-Stour. We are delighted to now add Salford Priors to our growing portfolio of high quality developments in the region.

“We have created a scheme which will offer a wide range of benefits, not only for new residents but also the existing community. Once complete, the development will boast high quality homes set around public open space, an impressive new village green and additional community parking. There will also be contributions towards improvements in local community services, education and highway infrastructure. Salford Priors is another great example of CALA working closely with the land owner, local planners and the wider community to bring forward much needed new homes.”

CALA Homes has ambitious growth plans in the Midlands and is actively looking for new sites across the region.
