What does your job at CALA involve?

It’s my job to make sure people know all about CALA, our commitment to quality and our amazing developments across the North East. My role involves helping to build and nurture the CALA brand and ensure that the CALA values come through in all marketing, from PR and advertising to website, brochures and internal comms.

What is your role’s biggest challenge?

The biggest challenge I face in my role at CALA is navigating any external factors that could impact the property market. It’s an ever-shifting sector that we need to always be on top of to maintain CALA’s consistent track record as one of the region’s leading housebuilders.

What is the best thing about your role?

I love how fast moving the industry is and the variety that it provides me in my job. From planning marketing strategies to organising events, it’s a very creative job and it allows me to always be innovative and to think outside the box.

Do you have any career advice for someone looking to work for CALA?

CALA Homes is a fantastic place to work with a profound focus on quality in both customer service and design excellence. We always invest in our people and offer great opportunities for the team to develop and grow. For anyone looking to work at CALA, you need to find your passion. As a marketer, I’m extremely passionate about promoting a product that I truly believe in and in CALA Homes’ case, that’s five star customer service and five star quality homes.

What are your CALA Homes aspirations?

My professional development is really important to me. Since starting my CALA career as a marketing co-ordinator, I’ve worked my way up to a managerial role with the help of great leaders within the business and the support that CALA has offered me personally through internal and external courses.Personally through hard work, determination and passion for what I do.  I always strive for excellence and delivering a high standard.
