CALA is committed to providing opportunities for staff at every level of the organisation. 

We want people to be able to perform to the best of their own abilities and recognise that we need to support them to do this. From your first day with CALA, your development will start with a company Induction, providing useful insight into the organisation and providing essential information to assist all new staff.


Within your first three months you will attend a group induction which is a great opportunity to meet other new employees across the business and learn about the company you have chosen to work for. This is a great day and some of the feedback we have received since running this has been excellent.

Training and Development

We have an annual Performance Development Review to evaluate performance from the previous year, agree objectives for the coming year and identify training and development requirements. We also offer a number of training courses for employees, internally and externally, to ensure employees can perform to their best ability. In our dedication to professional and personal development, we also offer support to some employees through Further and Higher Education qualifications. Our commitment to internal progression is evidenced in the number of staff who have been internally promoted.

As a company we support further learning and would encourage all staff including our Graduates to pursue accreditation with relevant professional bodies.
