Happy buyers at Dalmeny Park

House buyers set forth on a new home journey at Dalmeny Park, South Queensferry.

CALA Homes 13 June 2017

A delighted couple have been quick to praise the service and efforts of CALA Homes (East of Scotland) with whom they found their dream home – in the shadow of the world-famous Forth Bridges.

Robert and Jennifer Hay were encouraged to visit CALA Homes Dalmeny Park development in South Queensferry to experience the location for themselves, and were instantly won over.

Situated within the picturesque town, the development is perfect for commuters and boasts all the benefits of quaint, village living. This made it the ideal place to purchase a new home, as the Hays soon discovered.

“We quickly decided that we preferred new builds and that we liked CALA’s in particular, as they felt like a bit of a step up from the others. We had considered detached homes at other CALA developments, but when we weighed everything up, we just really liked the location of Dalmeny Park. It has a nice high street near the water and well-established commuter links which gave us peace of mind.

“We went out to visit and viewed the showhome and we just fell in love with it straight away. We were walking about and kept catching each other’s eye, we both knew it just felt right. It ticked all the boxes.”

Dalmeny Park is well-situated for buyers commuting into the heart of Edinburgh city centre, and particularly for those who work at South Gyle, which is only six minutes by train, and also those travelling to the business hub of Edinburgh Park, which is just a 15 minute drive away. The location also makes travelling across the central belt to Fife or to Edinburgh airport very easy.

South Queensferry itself retains a village feel, with its quaint high street and water front providing a popular destination for day trippers and visitors. Outstanding local amenities include a selection of independent restaurants and shops brimming with charm.

While undoubtedly impressed with the home and its location, it was the service Robert and Jennifer received from CALA Homes (East) that made buying the property such a fantastic experience.

They were always really friendly and knowledgeable and they were quick to come back to us whenever we had a question that they couldn’t answer straight away. They were a pleasure to deal with.

“You can tell that the homebuilder really thinks about things from the buyer’s point of view and looks after them well, so we’d definitely recommend both CALA Homes and Dalmeny Park.

“It’s been a positive experience from beginning to end and if we eventually decide we need a larger house, we’d definitely explore staying on the development and maybe moving to one of the larger detached homes. We’re just really happy here.”

Philip Hogg, Sales and Marketing Director with CALA Homes (East), said: “We’re always so pleased to hear that our customers, like The Hays, feel that they have made the right decision when buying with us.

“At CALA we focus not just on the high quality of the houses we sell, but also on the service we offer to our customers and ensure it doesn’t just stop as soon as the keys have been handed over.

“As a result, we earn great loyalty from our customers, who often go on to live in a series of CALA properties or recommend us to other potential homebuyers.”

Househunters are encouraged to visit Dalmeny Park to see for themselves the extra level of comfort and service they can enjoy.
