CALA Homes is once again getting into gear to take part in this year’s Palace to Palace cycle challenge in aid of its corporate charity, The Prince’s Trust.
On Sunday 1st October, Chief Executive Alan Brown will lead a team of 16 people in the 45 mile charity bike ride across London which stretches from Buckingham Palace, along the River Thames, through three royal parks and ending near Windsor Castle.
Alan commented: “I am extremely proud of all the staff fundraising activity that is going on around the business to support the great work The Prince’s Trust does to get disadvantaged, young people into employment.
“The Palace to Palace bike ride is a particularly rigorous challenge and I know the team have all been training hard in preparation. The Prince’s Trust is a charity I am a passionate supporter of and the money we raise really does help change the lives of young people in the UK.”
Established in 1976, The Prince’s Trust is a youth charity that helps disadvantaged young people gain the skills and confidence to move into employment, education or training.
The Palace to Palace cycle ride is just one of the ways CALA Homes is raising funds for The Prince’s Trust as part of its ongoing partnership with the charity. If you would like to sponsor the participation of the CALA team in the Palace to Palace Challenge, we would be extremely appreciative of your support.
