CALA Rises To Top Ten In Sunday Times Top Track 250

CALA Homes has become the only housebuilder to achieve a top ten place in this year’s Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 Awards.  The company has risen to 10th place in the annual league table, its highest position to date.

CALA Group. 02 October 2017

The report ranks Britain’s private mid-market growth companies with the biggest sales, with each of the companies increasing sales or profits by at least 10% year-on-year.

The ranking reflects significant growth for CALA, having attained 15th place in 2016 and 27th place in 2015.  The company now sits above brands such as Miller Homes, Virgin Active and Betfred.

Alan Brown, Chief Executive of CALA Homes, comments: “This is fantastic recognition for CALA on the back of a fifth consecutive year of record growth.

“Over the last 10 years, we have achieved volume growth of 67%, significantly ahead of our major listed peers. It is testament to the talent and hard work of the whole team at CALA that we have grown the business whilst still retaining our unique culture and delivering consistently high standards in health and safety, customer service and the quality of our homes.   We have a clear differentiated position as the UK’s most upmarket major homebuilder and are on track to deliver approximately 2,500 homes per year by 2020.

“It is inspiring to be amongst such a diverse range of businesses in this year’s Top Track 250, all of which are positively contributing to the UK economy.”
