Charities and local groups in Berkshire, applied for a share of the 2018 CALA Community Bursary

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to apply and congratulate them all on the significant contribution they are making to their local community.

Whistle 37512 CALA : Portesbery School, Newfoundland Road, DeepcutCaption Gordon Parris Charity Founder did not attend.Pauline Way Charity Representative ( blue & white striped top ), Katie Hunter Cala Homes ( glasses ), Callum Dawson ,Lorraine Dawson Mother ( pink top ),  and Nathan Aspinall Head Teacher.The Children with Special Needs Foundation in Chobham were awarded £1,000 funding from the Community Bursary. The donation was used to purchase an electric wheelchair for a special needs child in the local area.

Founded in 1995, The Children with Special Needs Foundation has raised funds to support hundreds of individuals, groups and schools in their requests for specialist equipment, holidays, tuition and essential care for children with special needs in Surrey, East Berkshire and North Hampshire.
