Give a Dog a Bone portraitGive a Dog a Bone received £1,000 from CALA’s Community Bursary in 2018.

The charity supports local over 60s who struggle to afford to feed their pets by providing help with pet food and insurance costs.

The funds went towards a new project, ‘Companionship in the Community’ – a community space offering social and canine companionship to retired people in and around the Shawlands area of Glasgow, giving them the opportunity to meet new people and learn new skills.
