CALA's Big Build

Following the success of our participation in Habitat for Humanity’s Big Build Project 2017, CALA is sending 10 CALA employees (1 from each regional business and the two Group offices) to the Battambang region of Cambodia to take part in the CALA Build 2019, providing a safe and secure home for a vulnerable family.

From bake sales to 5-a-side football tournaments, the CALA Build team have been busy fundraising in the run up to their trip. Thanks to generous donations from CALA colleagues, family and friends, they have collectively raised over £12,000 so far. Through CALA's Matched Funding initiative, the total raised will be increased by CALA by a further £5,000 (£500 per team member). If you'd like to donate, click here.

In the run up to the CALA Build trip to Cambodia, we wanted tell you all a bit more about the members of the team and why they wanted to take part in this opportunity. Their referees have also shared their thoughts on the CALA values they had demonstrated that helped in their selection and will contribute to the success of the trip.
