CALA Homes is committed to consulting with the local community on an ongoing basis to provide them with the opportunity to give feedback and to help shape the plans for Barton Farm.

A series of consultation events for the first phase of Barton Farm have now taken place and details of these events and links to the materials from each are listed below. There will be further opportunities for community input on subsequent phases as our plans progress.

Wednesday 18th September – Information Day

An opportunity for the local community to view detailed proposals for the first phase of Barton Farm ahead of the submission of a reserved matters application to Winchester City Council. Information on display included the proposed mix of properties, the design of the homes, landscaping and an indicative phasing and details of the Design Code. Wednesday 12th June 2013 – Community Consultation

The local community were invited to give feedback on a revised masterplan, an indicative phasing plan, a proposed layout for phase one, sketch elevations and information on the Design Code. To view the information displayed at the consultation event, please click here.

24th and 25th April 2013 – Two-day Stakeholder Workshop

CALA undertook a two-day stakeholder workshop event to consult on detailed plans for phase one of the scheme and the Design Code. A workshop feedback report can be found here.

Thursday 31st January 2013 – Information Day

An event which provided the community with an update on the outline planning consent, next steps and timetable for consultation. The consultation boards from the event are available to download here.

Barton Farm Forum

Representatives from CALA attend all meetings of the Barton Farm Forum, organised by Winchester City Council. These meetings are open to the public. Further details of the forum can be found here. Meetings of the Barton Farm Forum are currently suspended while the reserved matters application for phase one if being determined.
