The demand for properties has been so well received that the upmarket major homebuilder has taken steps to progress the next round of development earlier than planned.

Phase one began in November 2015, with the introduction of the first 60 properties well underway, ranging from three-bedroom terraced house types to large, detached five-bedroom family homes including garages with accommodation above.

The second phase of the development will be a natural extension of the landmark site and will include 166 properties comprising of two, three, four and five bedroom homes and one and two bedroom apartments. In its entirety, the development will create 550 homes plus a new primary school and commercial elements.

Fraser Carr, sales and marketing director at CALA Homes (North), said: “Our commitment to the new community we are creating here in Milltimber continues to gain momentum. Moving ahead early with our application to develop phase two is a result of the response we’ve had to this vibrant village environment we are creating.

“Every element has been carefully considered to ensure it captures the essence of its idyllic Deeside location. From the collection of homes available to the impressive entrance that greets every visitor on arrival, this is a destination that will strike a chord with a wide mix of homebuyers.

“We have invested in every part of this development from the outset with a state-of-the-art show village that brought to life the design possibilities that come in partnership with a CALA home. This next phase is another step in the process of creating an inviting and welcoming new community where people can lay down roots.”
