About the Development

Planning permission has already been granted on the site for 103 dwellings.

Two Houses / Poole / Plot 2We have reviewed the approved scheme and approached the new planning application sensitively, taking into account the main design parameters and incorporating them into our layout. This includes provision of a central green space and a green corridor that runs from north to south. We also intend to continue a low density edge on the western boundary, which will include bungalows, and provide appropriate spacing from the northern boundary with Stane Street Close.

The proposal will increase the number of dwellings on the site as a whole to 119, but the layout will be spacious and the level of open space exceeds the Council’s requirements.

The density of the site will be below that of nearby schemes in the immediate vicinity, including the Taylor Wimpey development to the north of Stane Street Close (Oddstones) and the Riverside development.
