The club wished to extend and improve its clubhouse and facilities and worked collaboratively with CALA to achieve this, funding the development from revenue derived from sale of land for housing.
The club and CALA identified an area adjacent to the clubhouse suitable for housing development and then liaised effectively with Surrey Heath Borough Council to agree an acceptable level of development. CALA designed four five-bedroom detached family homes with detached garages, each of almost 3,500 square feet of luxury living space and obtained planning permission for both these and the extension to the club house.
The homes front onto the golf course, and will enjoy impressive views out over the first tee. Each property has been individually designed to be in keeping with its surroundings and, located in a private area of the golf club, will be surrounded by trees and hedgerows. The purchasers will also benefit from preferential membership rates to the golf club.
CALA let and managed the contract for the clubhouse extension, which is now complete and also helped to improve the club’s facilities for its members by relocating the golf club’s Green Keeper’s compound and equipment building to its current buggy store. The club is now benefitting from its enhanced facilities and CALA will shortly commence marketing of these four attractive and exclusive homes.
