A heat network shares heat between properties, instead of each generating its own, which is a more efficient way to provide heat and hot water to homes. The heat network at Craighall Village is operated by Vattenfall, one of the largest operators of heat networks in Western Europe. Vattenfall are working in partnership with Midlothian Council to bring a low carbon heat network that provides reliable heating and hot water at a fair price to residents of Craighall Village and surrounding developments.
