Cammo Fields, Edinburgh
East of Scotland
CALA Homes and Barratt David Wilson Homes are bringing forward a proposal for residential development at Cammo Fields. The site is allocated within the current Local Development Plan (LDP Reference HSG20) with an indicative capacity of up to 700 new houses over 28 Hectares.
A Proposal of Application Notice was jointly submitted to Edinburgh Council on 20th September by CALA, Barratt David Wilson and Cramond & Harthill Estates.
CALA and Barratt David Wilson are proposing a development of approximately 650-700 homes with the provision of Community Facilities, a bus turning circle and 25% onsite affordable housing. There will be a broad mix of housing types, ranging from 1 Bedroom Apartments to 5 Bedroom Family Homes.
Having built up a strong partnership over the last 10 years, CALA and Barratt David Wilson have successfully developed on our site at Fairmilehead and are almost finished at our two other sites at Liberton Grange and Dalmeny Park. The key to our success has been built upon working closely with the local communities and tailoring our development to the area in which the site resides.
Strength in design excellence and Landscaping quality will ensure that this attractive development offering retains a sensitive approach to its surroundings but also maximises access and connectivity for the surrounding community to the Cammo Estate.
Having held our Public Consultation on the 10th and 11th November at the Cramond Kirk Hall, you can now view our exhibition boards here.
