Cala’s interior design team have selected 10 local businesses to inspire our latest showhomes. From artists to photographers, framers to florists, our Showhome of Support initiative allow us to support local, and showcase wonderful local businesses to visitors and homeowners alike.
Stay Safe, Stay Away offers primary schools an interactive session covering the history of building houses as well as the variety of fantastic and varied career opportunities within the industry, as well educating pupils about the dangers of going into construction areas unsupervised.
One of the first Pledge initiatives at TwentyFour, Rosemount, was to lend a hand to Cala’s charity partner, Samaritans. The team volunteered 70 hours of time plus materials to decorate the charity’s local branch office.
We also installed a community sensory garden within the development which locals can enjoy, and provided a local food bank donation which totalled 10 crates of much-needed items, with the ability to feed 15 families for a week.
Our donation to Sports Aberdeen will contribute towards their ‘Get Active for Less’ programme which will help create opportunities, inspiring people and changing lives through sports and phsyical activity. Helping disadvantaged children, youths and adults within the Aberdeen city region.
Land To Life is a curriculum-based schools project aimed at 7-11 year olds. The comprehensive suite of teachers’ notes and detailed lesson plans aims to educate children on how new communities are created, from land acquisition through to sales and marketing.
