Egley Road, Woking

Cala Homes Thames has submitted the planning application PLAN/2022/0694 to Woking Borough Council on 22 July 2022.

The detailed application was submitted for 86 homes (50 per cent of which are affordable) alongside:

• 62-bed care home, operated by Barchester Healthcare.
• EV charging point at each new home.
• Urban Wildlife Strategy roll-out.
• New community green, a children’s playground, footway improvements to Egley Road.
• New vehicle access from Egley Road, alongside new pedestrian and cycle routes.
• Retention of mature trees and hedges, planting new trees, and a sustainable drainage system and rain meadows to help manage surface water.
