Cala submit proposal for 128 homes at fourth phase of Oldfold Development

Cala Homes (North) has submitted a planning application for 128 new homes to Aberdeen City Council, in what will form the fourth phase of their Oldfold Village development, located in Milltimber.

The proposed plans incorporates a mixture of two, three, four and five bedroom family homes, including a variety of new house types, which are set to make their debut in Scotland. 

The development, located on North Deeside Road, is one of Cala’s flagship communities in the North East and is set to comprise of 550 homes overall.

The fourth phase of the site will include a diverse range of popular house types and designs from across Cala’s stunning portfolio of contemporary, family homes, including, for the first time in Scotland, several new three- and four-bedroom properties such as the Poplar, Fir, Laurel and the Rowan.

Every house at the site will also provide EV charging points as standard, as well as additional sustainability and biodiversity measures put in place, such as bird boxes, green spaces and hedgehog highways – all of which form part of the housebuilder’s ongoing commitment to urban wildlife at its developments.

“Following the success of the first three phases at the popular residential location, we hope that this latest phase will continue to grow this flourishing neighbourhood, progressing our masterplan for the area and provide much-needed housing, all designed to Cala’s exacting standards.

“We look forward to receiving a decision from Aberdeen City Council in due course.”
