WINNING PHOTOGRAPH - BOROUGHMUIR AT NIGHT
BOROUGHMUIR'S GREAT PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGE
They say a picture paints a thousand words, so we asked our talented residents - "what does life at Boroughmuir say to you?"
Cala invited them to capture the very essence of their stunning new surroundings before putting their images to the ultimate test - our judge, Jackson Moyles, joint winner of the BBC’s Great British Photography Challenge.
After providing our residents with a helpful hints and tips video in advance, he set our residents a new video weekly challenge brief over a 3 week period, with the entries proving to be very impressive.
He said of the winning image -
"Brilliantly composed with those leading lines guiding the eye perfectly to the centre of the image. Great to wait until it was dark and capture the walkway when it was artificially lit. Creates a totally different atmosphere that not everyone is going to see!"
We are sure you'll agree that our winning image, of the development's innovative internal walkway system, is a real showstopper.
