Cala’s interior design team will select 10 local businesses to showcase in our upcoming Colville showhome. Land To Life is a curriculum-based schools project aimed at 7-11 year olds. The comprehensive suite of teachers’ notes and detailed lesson plans aims to educate children on how new communities are created, from land acquisition through to sales and marketing.
Stay Safe, Stay Away offers primary schools an interactive session covering the history of building houses, the variety of fantastic and varied career opportunities within the industry, as well as educating pupils about the dangers of going into construction areas unsupervised.
Our Urban Wildlife Strategy outlines our commitment to incorporate wild-life supporting measures into every new home we build, such as bat roosting and bird nesting features, as well as hedgehog-friendly fences and invertebrate bricks for bees and other invertebrates. It does not represent the extent of our aspirations from a biodiversity and habitat creation perspective, but instead looks to establish a baseline of urban wildlife measures on our homes, regardless of what our planning permission asks for.
