Timber frame is the only true renewable building material, which has been shown to have up to 20% less embodied carbon that a typical masonry build. During construction, there is less waste and homes can be built quicker.  

There are energy efficient benefits for our customers. Timber frame homes are better insulators than traditional brick, meaning they take less energy to heat.

Cala's Cotswolds move to timber frame construction is a vital part of our journey to move to netzero and is already being used on 80% of new Cala Homes in Scotland.
