To reflect our commitment to our communities over the lifecycle of our developments, we have introduced our Community Pledge. Our Pledges bring together a host of bespoke measures for each local community including activities, donations, initiatives, volunteering drives and much more.
The Community Pledge goes above and beyond planning obligations, in fact it's an evolution of work we’ve been doing for many years within the communities in which we build, ensuring that we support the local areas and people who live there.

Cala’s interior design team are in the process of selecting 10 local businesses to inspire our showhomes which are coming soon to East Calder. From artists to photographers, framers to florists, our Showhome of Support initiative allow us to support local, and showcase wonderful local businesses to visitors and homeowners alike.
Cala assisted The East Calder Development Trust with signage for their new office, both externally and internally, doesn't it look great.
Stay Safe, Stay Away offers primary schools an interactive session covering the history of building houses as well as the variety of fantastic and varied career opportunities within the industry, as well educating pupils about the dangers of going into construction areas unsupervised.
Through a request from the local community, Cala tidied up three local planters throughout East Calder and added new plants and greenery to help brighten up community spaces.
