Our approach

Since 2006 Cala Homes (West) have been the lead developer in the successful delivery of the Larbert North Strategic Growth Area. Previously serving as a hospital and surrounding greenspace, the 218-acre site was master planned in partnership with Falkirk Council, NHS Forth Valley and Persimmon Homes.

Since then, Kinnaird Village has delivered a new primary school, local retail centre, an integrated high-quality green network, and 1700 new homes. Within Kinnaird Village, Cala have delivered 800 homes including flats, terraces semi-detached, townhouses and detached homes. We have just completed the last 2 phases at Kinnaird Wynd and Lee where demand was unprecedented with both sites selling out quickly and predominantly serving buyers from the local area.

Kinnaird Village is the most successful growth area in Falkirk and has been used by the Council as an example of best practice in the delivery of growth areas in terms of design and place making. As a result of the success of Kinnaird Village, Cala has a positive, and well-established relationship with Falkirk Council. This is a demonstration of Cala’s financial, and design agility, professionalism, and commitment to developing complex and unique sites, through working closely with the local authority.
